Update for July 2011
Rain today. Weather has been really warm for the last week but overall have had some really stable weather for the last 3 weeks. We started seeing Mayflies about 4 days ago, and seems to be still hatching in smaller numbers now.
Before hatch, we were having phenomenal numbers on walleyes and northern. Great Muskie fishing, as well. Upon the hatch, fishing slowed a bit but not affecting people who want to eat walleyes for dinner....
Keep posted on our FaceBook Site. I try to keep that updated every few days. We look forward to another successful season at Bear Trail!! One of our best walleye number year's so far!!

Update for Season Opener...
This Spring has been very busy around here. Trying to keep up returning all calls/e-mails. If you need to contact us by phone, then you can call after 9:30 or 10:00 at the Main Lodge (807) 227-2625. E-mails are the best way to contact us anytime.
Opening week brought up and down fishing. Honestly, just crappy weather. Unfortunately, we cannot predict the weather, so this brought some tougher fishing for Opening Week. This being our 2nd week of Season has been some exceptional fishing for some of our guests. A cold front blew in yesterday with high winds. Overall, there has been a lot of Quality fish caught this week.
The weather was very nice tonight and will continue to get better as the Season wears on. We look forward to lots of Great Fishing Days to Come!!!

2011 Season is Coming Upon Us!!!
We are excited to get work started for Bear Trail Season 2012!! We are getting everything together and ready for all of the guests that start to arrive May 21st!!

Sports Shows 2011
We just finished up our latest Sports Show in St. Louis, Missouri. What a GREAT CROWD!! Got to see lots of old faces along w/ some new ones that we look forward to having at camp this summer.
Casey & Tyler are going to head to the Des Moines Deer Classic February 25-27 at the HyVee Hall. Chanda will be at the Omaha Boat Sport and Travel Show at the Qwest Center February 24-27.
Then, we will be finishing off the year at the Minneapolis Northwest Sport Show March 30 - April 3, 2011.
Come out and see us!! Great to see the Mid-West in the Wintertime....hahaha
